Technical Description
Earthseal ESCC (1.8) R is a 245 fa blown, renewable resource based polyurethane spray foam insulation system. ESCC (1.8) cures to a low density spray applied structural wall foam developed for application to interior sidewalls and cavity fill at substrate temperatures as low as 20°F. It is available in three reactivity variations to meet a broad range of surface temperature conditions. Earthseal ESCC (1.8) contains the most advanced technology in polyol and renewable resource spray foam in the world. Earthseal ESCC (1.8) is designed for commercial and residential projects.

Air Leakage: 0.003 SCFM/ft ASTM E-283
All samples had an overall air leakage below the detectable limits of the equipment used 0.05 SCFM (0.02L/s).
This calculates out to be an air leakage rate of less than 0.003 SCFM/ft 2 (0.016 L/s/m2).

*THIS DATA REFLECTS THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE FOAMS BY A LABORATORY SCALE BURNING TEST, AND THE RESULTS ARE NOT TO BE CONSIDERED OR USED AS A FIRE HAZARD CLASSIFICATION AND ARE NOT INTEDED TO REFLECT HAZARDS PRESENTED BY THIS OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL UNDER ACTUAL FIRE CONDITIONS.
* Prior to designing and installing a spray polyurethane foam interior insulation system, code officials should be consulted for recommendation and approvals. Federal, local and state building codes vary. All require that spray applied polyurethane foam insulation be covered with an approved 15 minute fire rated thermal barrier. One typically approved material is ½” (1cm) gypsum wallboard applied over the spray polyurethane foam insulation. However, always check with local officials for recommendations and approvals. It is recommended that the approved thermal barrier be installed the same day the foam is applied.
