Technical Description
Apex
Foam APOC 1.0P is a fast set, open-celled 100% water-blown polyurethane spray
foam insulation system. APOC 1.0P contains no ozone depleting substances and
creates a seamless monolithic coating. It expands to fill voids and prevents
air movement. APOC 1.0P adds dimensional stability, and will not shrink even
under adverse weather conditions. It is mold and mildew resistant, odorless,
and only yields non-toxic vapors after application. APOC 1.0P exhibits far superior
adhesion properties than any conventional or competitor’s foam insulation
system. This product makes an excellent sound
barrier and shows extreme reduction in sound on wood and metal constructions. Interior
Applications only.

All samples had an overall air leakage below the
detectable limits of the equipment used 0.05 SCFM (0.02L/s).
This calculates out to be an air leakage rate of less
than 0.003 SCFM/ft 2 (0.016 L/s/m2).

BY THIS OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL UNDER ACTUAL FIRE CONDITIONS.
* Prior to designing and installing a spray polyurethane
foam interior insulation system, code officials should be consulted for
recommendation and approvals. Federal, local and state building codes vary. All
require that spray applied polyurethane foam insulation be covered with an
approved 15 minute fire rated thermal barrier. One typically approved material
is ½” (1cm) gypsum wallboard applied over the spray polyurethane foam
insulation. However, always check with local officials for recommendations and
approvals. It is recommended that the approved thermal barrier be installed the
same day the foam is applied.
