Apex 1.2lb Platinum is a fast set, open-celled, 100% water-blown polyurethane spray insulation foam system.

Apex 1.2lb Platinum creates a seamless monolithic insulation barrier which stops air infiltration. It expands to fill all cracks and crevices while preventing air movement and increasing dimensional stability. Apex 1.2lb Platinum will not shrink even under the most adverse weather conditions. It is mold and mildew resistant, emits low odors, and yields non-toxic vapors after application. Apex 1.2lb Platinum exhibits adhesion properties that are superior to any conventional or competitors foam insulation systems. This product makes an excellent sound barrier, exhibiting an extreme reduction in sound on all wood and metal construction. Interior Applications only, non VOC compliant product.

Uses

Apex 1.2lb Platinum is a superior insulation material designed specifically for interior-residential and commercial construction applications only.

Limitations

Apex 1.2lb Platinum should not be used for exterior applications as the sunlight will rapidly degrade foam. It should not be used where foam will stay submerged in water. Applicable codes must be strictly adhered to. Apex 1.2lb Platinum must be covered by an approved 15 minute thermal barrier.
